Christopher W. Burdick, the Democratic assembly member representing Harrison and surrounding Westchester County communities in District 93, is running for reelection in the Nov. 3 general election.

The district includes the towns of Bedford, Harrison, Lewisboro, Mount Kisco, New Castle, North Castle, North Salem, Pound Ridge and about half of the city of White Plains. Burdick faces Republican and Conservative Party candidate Braille A. Diaz.

On his campaign website, Burdick says he wants to protect the state property tax cap, push for restored federal SALT deductions and fight for a new school funding formula, calling the current one "outdated and unfair."
