Harrison boys soccer did not just win a few trophies last fall — the Huskies built one of the most memorable seasons in program history.

A recent lohud.com gallery celebrating Fall 2025 Section 1 champions spotlighted Harrison’s 3-1 victory over Mahopac for the Section 1 Class AA championship, but that was only one piece of a historic three-title sweep.

The Huskies captured the League Championship, Section 1 Class AA crown and Class AA Regional Championship, finishing the season with a 20-2-2 record, according to the Harrison Central School District athletics newsletter.

The turnaround was dramatic. After going 9-6-2 in 2024, Harrison more than doubled its win total in one season under head coach Alejandro Galeano, who was named League Coach of the Year.

Leading the charge was Mylo Langlais, who earned All-State and All-Region honors while taking home League Player of the Year. Maxim Hersh was named Lohud Player of the Week during the season, while Gavin Ensign and Ellis Boyle earned All-Section recognition.

Nils Boman and Owen Coffey received All-Section Honorable Mention, and six Huskies landed All-League honors: Langlais, Ensign, Boyle, Hersh, Ryan Sottile and Arata Yamazaki.

The championship run nearly reached the state’s biggest stage. Harrison advanced to the Class AA state semifinals before falling 4-1 to defending state champion Garden City. Boyle briefly tied the game at 1-1 in the second half before Garden City pulled away.

The team was recognized by the Harrison Board of Education in January, where Superintendent Louis N. Wool praised the Huskies’ chemistry and teamwork.

“I was most impressed by how you came together as a team and the connection you share with one another,” Wool told the players.

Now, Harrison enters the 2026 season with a new challenge: defending all three championships and proving last year’s run was no fluke.
