The Rye Arts Center's Ladies Comedy Night marks its 20th year with a fundraiser at the Community Synagogue of Rye on Thursday, Nov. 5.

All proceeds fund scholarships that keep arts classes open to children who otherwise could not afford them. Last year's event drew more than 300 people and raised over $50,000, according to MyRye.com.

"You have women from their 20s to their 90s coming together … to laugh, connect, and support one another," said Alli West, director of development at the Rye Arts Center. West said the evening raises funds to keep arts education accessible across the community.

Doors open at 6 p.m. for a Sushi & Sip Happy Hour and a luxury raffle. The comedy show starts at 7:30 p.m.

Stand-up comedian and podcast host Kim Berns serves as emcee. Berns hosts the podcasts "What's the Story" and "UnPaused" and has performed at venues including The Comic Strip Live and the Broadway Comedy Club.

Three comedians round out the lineup. Ellen P. Feeney, a former lawyer turned stand-up comic, won the 2025 Laughing Buddha Comedy Competition. Mallory Morgan is a New York City-based comedian with hundreds of thousands of followers on TikTok and Instagram.

Stephanie Blum, a former school psychologist and Brooklyn native, has appeared on HBO Comedy Minutes and Discovery Family Channel's "Babies Behaving Badly."

Tickets cost $195 and are available online.
