Tuesday night’s Concert at the Beach at Rye Town Park was canceled as severe thunderstorms moved through Westchester County, ending plans for Studio B Band to perform along the waterfront.

The Town of Rye announced the cancellation Monday, July 20, ahead of a storm system that prompted a Tornado Watch and Flash Flood Warning across the region. The National Weather Service issued the Tornado Watch for Westchester and surrounding counties from 2:08 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, while Westchester County issued a Flash Flood Warning through 6:45 p.m.
The free concert was scheduled to begin at 7 p.m., during the height of the weather alerts.
The summer concert series continues Thursday, July 23, with Jamshow Acoustic performing at Crawford Park’s Great Lawn at 7 p.m. The Tuesday night series returns to Rye Town Park on July 28 with Christine Chanel.
All concerts in the Town of Rye’s 2026 summer lineup are free and open to the public. No tickets are required, and attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs.
