Playland to open pirate ship ride Scorpios on Aug. 13
Rye Playland will debut Scorpios, a 42-passenger pirate ship swing ride built by German manufacturer Metallbau Emmeln, at a noon ceremony on Thursday, Aug. 13, marking the park's first new ride addition of the 2026 season.
